With experience at the Dutch Safety Board, the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, and the Health and Youth Care Inspectorate, I understand how policy, supervision, and legislation come together in practice.

My areas of specialisation include:

Administrative law (supervision, enforcement, privacy, public access to government information)
International law, with a strong focus on air and space law
Legal frameworks for independent accident investigations, including in aviation, maritime, defense, industry, and construction. Specific expertise in aviation accident investigation under ICAO Annex 13

In addition to my work as a legal advisor, I am active as a guest lecturer, jury member for the NLF Awards, and chair of the IAWA European Forum 2025.
